Our Vision:- Building and strengthening the capacities of scholars, practitioners and others for qualitative service delivery in peace and development work.
SPSP will support this process by providing technical expertise and fostering collaboration with partners through alliances to streamline, standardize and promote a culture of peace globally.
Promote the practice of third-party intervention to facilitate management, resolution and transformation of conflicts. Promote the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and other non-violent models for joint problem-solving; Promote cooperation, harmonize efforts and close interaction among members of the peace society, donors and similar bodies, both within and outside Nigeria;
Organize workshops, conferences and publish conference proceedings, peace journals and magazines;
The Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP) is a Not-for-Profit organisation that promotes non-violent approach to conflict resolution, through multi-level research, advocacy and actions that strengthen local capacities that will bring about a sustainable culture of peace.
