This is to formally introduce the acting Assistant Secretary Generally of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice, Miss Ojewale Oluwatosin Raimot.
Sequel to the confirmation of Dr Yusuf Olanrewaju Lateef as the substantive Secretary General, the General Assembly reached a resolution that the National Working Committee (NWC) should, as a matter of urgency, appoint a capable hand as the acting Assistant secretary General. In addition, the General assembly posited that the candidate for the position must be a female. Miss Ojewale was thereby appointed based on these resolutions.
The Acting Assistant Secretary-General will complete the subsisting tenure which commenced on December 1, 2022 and is due to expire on November 30, 2025.
The NWC congratulates Miss Ojewale .
