It was a busy week in the Northwest town of Kaduna, from 1st to 5th July, 2024, as peace scholars and practitioners converged on the old headquarters of the northern region for reflections into the past and strategies into the future, in the quest for peaceful and harmonious Nigeria and Africa.

NIGERIA POLICE IGP EXPRESSES COMMITMENT TO PARTNER THE SOCIETY FOR PEACE STUDIES AND PRACTICE (SPSP).
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr Kayode Egbetokun says the Police Force will in principle enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP). The IGP noted that this is in line with the police’s desire for deeper collaboration with the SPSP.
