Distinguished Members,
Our International Conference and General Assembly was originally scheduled for the week of June 17th-20th, 2024. The date of arrival for the Conference was June 17th, however, we found out that the day is most likely going to be the day set aside for Eid- Kabir celebrations. We also understand that Eid-Kabir is a week-long celebration in many societies.
Consequently, the NWC, ably led by the President, Mr Nathaniel Awuapila fspsp, embarked on wide consultations and agreed on the following:
A. The date for the International Conference and Annual General Meeting has been adjusted to reflect the raised concerns and observations above, mindful also of the convenience of the leadership and members of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) where the conference is to be hosted.
B. The new date for the event will be July 1st to 5th, 2024. July 1st will be the new date of arrival, while July 5th will be the departure date.
C. All other details remain constant.
D. Preparations for the Conference will be in top gear.
We therefore implore our distinguished members to adjust their schedules accordingly.
The conference posters reflecting the new dates will soon be distributed.
All inconveniences forthwith are regretted.
