It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a remarkable individual, Late Ag. DCG Helen Amakiri, fspsp, who breathed her last on Monday, 28th January, 2024, in Abuja.
President Nathaniel Msen Awuapila, fspsp, representing the National Working Committee (NWC), Central Working Committee (CWC), Board of Trustees (BOT), Body of Fellows (BoF), and all Members of the SPSP, mourns the loss of a founding member of the FCT (Abuja) branch of the SPSP.
In an official statement, President Awuapila, fspsp, expressed his condolences, stating, "I join the SPSP family in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and all Members of the SPSP to mourn the passing of Late Madam Helen Amakiri, who is reported to have left us on Monday, 28th January, 2024." He acknowledged Mrs. Amakiri's significant contributions to the establishment and growth of SPSP in the FCT.
President Awuapila, fspsp, offered prayers, seeking Almighty God's grace for the eternal rest of Late Mrs. Helen Amakiri, fspsp, and for strength and solace for her grieving family and loved ones.
Details regarding the burial arrangements are yet to be announced by the family.
