The Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP) extends its warmest congratulations to General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd.), a distinguished Fellow of the Society, on his confirmation as the Minister of Defence of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
General Musa's appointment comes barely a week after he was conferred with SPSP's highest award of fellowship. His appointment is a testament to his exceptional leadership, strategic vision, and dedication to national security. His vast experience as the former Chief of Defence Staff and Theatre Commander of Operation Hadin Kai makes him an invaluable asset to the nation's defence sector.
On behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC), ably led by Mr Nathaniel Msen Awuapila, fspsp, the Board of Trustees, Board of Fellows, Central Working Committee, and the entire membership of SPSP, we commend General Musa for his tireless efforts in promoting peace and security. We have no doubt that his leadership will bring renewed hope and strength to Nigeria's defence architecture.
