The Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP) congratulates Prof. Saibou Issa on his recent appointment as the Director Institute for Security Studies Central Africa Observatory of Organized Crime and Violence based in Yaounde, Cameroon. Prof. Saibou Issa is also SPSP's Regional Coordinator for Cameroon and Central Africa.
The ISS Central Africa Observatory of Organized Crime and Violence is a research and analysis initiative of the Institute for Security Studies (ISS). It focuses on mapping and analyzing criminal trends and illicit flows in Central Africa. The observatory aims to provide policymakers and stakeholders with the evidence-based insights needed to develop effective strategies to address organised crime and violence.
The President, Mr Nathaniel Msen Awuapila fspsp, on behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC), the Board of Trustees (BOT), the Board of Fellows (BoF), as well as the Central Working Committee (CWC) and all members of the Society, heartily congratulate Prof Issa Saibou on this appointment.
