The President, SPSP, Mr.
Nathaniel Msen Awuapila, fspsp on behalf of the NWC, the BOT, the BoF and
Members of the SPSP has again expressed the SPSP's commitment to partner and
collaborate with all relevant agencies for deepening PeaceBuilding efforts
across the Nigeria for the realisation of the UN SDGs.
Mr. Awuapila stated this in Abuja
at formal presentation to Dr Joseph Ochogwu, DG, Institute for Peace and
Conflict Resolution (IPCR) with the Certificate, Plaque and Lapel as Fellow of
the SPSP. Mr. Awuapila was represented at the event by Dr. Muhammad Kudu
Abubakar, fspsp, fnipr, National Publicity Secretary, SPSP. It will be recalled that the IPCR Director General attended the Fellowship Investiture ceremony but did not receive his own plaque and other accessories at the time.
Dr Abubakar was accompanied by Mr.
Chuks Nwoke, mspsp, National Treasury, SPSP and Ms. Grace Olaseinde, mspsp,
National Financial Secretary, SPSP.
The DG, IPCR, Dr. Joseph Ochogwu,
fspsp reiterated his and the IPCR's commitment to further collaborate with the
SPSP to achieve sustainable peace in Nigeria. He pledged that within the first
quarter of 2024 the IPCR will ensure that the SPSP is engaged in strategic
PeaceBuilding ventures that will enhance the two institutions mandates.
