The President, Society For Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP), Nathaniel Msen Awuapila, FSPSP on behalf of the National Working Committee (NWC), Board of Trustees (BOT), the Central Working Committee (CWC), the Body of Fellows and all Members of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice congratulates our distinguished member of the Society, DIG Kayode Egbetokun on his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria's Ag Inspector General of Police. As a very active member of the Society, the entire Members of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice are very proud of DIG Egbetokun's elevation as number one Police Officer of the Nation. While appreciating President Tinubu for the honour, the SPSP, as Nigeria's foremost professional society for Peace Scholars and Practitioners, believes that this appointment represents 'a round peg in a round hole'. We also pledge our support to President Tinubu's 'renewed hope agenda'.
