Recently, I had the privilege of visiting the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, as part of our ongoing engagement with academic institutions committed to peace and development.
I was accompanied by the Vice President (South), Dr. O.N. Neji, fspsp, during this important visit. Our presence at IAUE underscores the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP)’s dedication to fostering strong partnerships with universities and centres of learning across Nigeria.
The visit was both meaningful and impactful, as it offered an opportunity to explore avenues for collaboration, promote peace education, and support the establishment of institutional frameworks that advance peace and conflict studies in the region.
We remain committed to supporting academic excellence and community engagement as vital tools for sustainable peacebuilding.
