The Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP) is pleased to announce its 19th Annual International Conference and General Assembly, scheduled to take place from 24th to 28th November 2025 at the prestigious University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria.
This year’s theme, “Economic Challenges and the Task of Building Sustainable Peace in a Globalised World,” seeks to explore the complex relationship between economic instability and peacebuilding in an increasingly interconnected global environment. The conference will bring together peace practitioners, scholars, policymakers, development partners, and civil society actors to critically examine emerging economic threats and their implications for peace and security—both locally and globally.
