The President, Society For Peace Studies and Practice, SPSP, Mr Nathaniel Msen Awuapila, fspsp, on behalf of the National Working Committee,( NWC), the Central Working Committee,(CWC), the Board of Trustees (BOT), the Body of Fellows ( BoF) and esteemed Members of the SPSP, mourns the passing of Late Mrs Cecilia Alice Ogbogbo (Née: Nwagu), who is the mother of Distinguished Fellow and an academic of repute, Prof. CBN Ogbogbo, fspsp. Late Mrs Cecilia Alice Ogbgbo departed peacefully on the 17th of November, 2023, at the glorious age of 93 years.
Mr Awuapila, fspsp, announced that the wake keep was held on 16th February, 2024 and the Funeral Service/Internment was held on the 17th February, 2024 at Chief Chukwudede Ogbogbo Compound, Umuokum Village, Ogwashi-Ukwu, Delta State.
The SPSP President further extended the entire SPSP family's Condolences to Prof. CBN Ogbogbo, fspsp, and the entire Ogbogbo family for the loss of their loving mother, Grand mother, Great Grand mother, Sister and Aunty. He prayed God to grant her eternal rest. Since the burial has been held, the President, SPSP advised Esteemed Members to reach out to Prof. CBN Ogbogbo, fspsp, both individually and in groups to Condole him on the loss of his loving mother.
