The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr Kayode Egbetokun
says the Police Force will in principle enter into a Memorandum of
Understanding (MoU) with the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP).
The IGP noted that this is in line with the police’s desire
for deeper collaboration with the SPSP.
The Police Boss stated this when he received in audience a delegation of the SPSP in his office in Abuja on Monday, 20th November, 2023.
The SPSP delegation was led by the SPSP, BOT, Chairman, Prof
Elias Suleiman Bogoro, along with some members of SPSP, NWC, led by the
President, SPSP, Mr. Nathaniel Msen Awuapila, FSPSP.
The SPSP team congratulated the IGP on his confirmation by the Police Service Council (PSC).
The team further stressed the importance of the Nigerian
Police Force to the maintenance of peace in the Nigerian Society.

The Nigerian Police Force Team that received the SPSP delegation include the NPF Management Team made up of DIGs and the Nigerian Police Force Secretary.
