President,Society For Peace Studies and Practice,(SPSP), Mr. Nathaniel Msen Awuapila, fspsp, on behalf of the National Working Committee,(NWC), the Board of Trustees,(BOT), the Body of Fellows,(BoF) and esteemed Members of the SPSP, felicitates with two Distinguished, Outstanding and Longstanding members of the SPSP on their promotion and elevation in their chosen careers of the Nigeria Police Force and the academia. Mr. Awuapila, fspsp says, the SPSP recounts the professionalism and loyalty to the SPSP of former Commissioner of Police(CP), Hamza Adebola Ayinde,PhD, who was promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police(AIG).The President, SPSP recalled that,as former CP in Oyo State and Longstanding SPSP member,a broad spectrum of members of the SPSP in Cross River, Kwara and Oyo States have recounted AIG, Hamzat Adebola Ayinde's professional contributions and support to the SPSP. Mr. Awuapila, fspsp and the entire SPSP family also Congratulated one of our own and an academic of repute, Dr.Ruth O Adio-Moses to the rank of a Professor of Peace, Security & Humanitarian Studies at the University of Ibadan. President, SPSP, appreciates Prof. Ruth O Adio-Moses for her scholarship and academic achievements in Peace, Security & Humanitarian Studies. Mr. Awuapila, fspsp, noted that her elevation therefore is indeed a crowning glory for her excellent contribution to knowledge and Learning in her academic career. Mr Awuapila,fspsp expressed the hope that these outstanding Nigerians and more importantly SPSP members will continue to support and guide the SPSP in the quest for conflict resolution, Reconciliation, PeaceBuilding and National Development.
