The attention of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Society for Peace
Studies and Practice (SPSP) has been drawn to a viral flier announcing a training
where the Society for Peace Studies and Practice, the Institute of Chartered
Mediators and Conciliators and, the National Open University of Nigeria are
collaborating.
The training themed Professional Conflict Management & Alternative Dispute
Resolution (ADR) Course is scheduled to hold between September 23 to 27, 2024
while the mode of delivery is virtual! Similarly, the account number of the Society
was shared as the account for payment.
Let it be clarified here that the said training did not emanate from SPSP as the NWC
is not in any way aware of any training. All trainings of the society are centrally
approved by the NWC and notice of any training and induction is directly issued
from the office of the Secretary General.
