The President,Society For Peace Studies and Practice,(SPSP), Mr Nathaniel Msen Awuapila,fspsp, on behalf of the National Working Committee(NWC), the Central Working Committee,(CWC), the Board of Trustees( BOT), the Body of Fellows,( BoF), the Esteemed Members of the SPSP, felicitate and Congratulate Nigerians on the Celebration of the 2024 Nigeria's Democracy Day on June 12.
Mr Awuapila noted that June 12 appropriately commemorates Nigeria's transition to Democracy and the struggles of the pro-democracy movement.He observed that, as we Celebrate, Nigerians should remember and honour the bravery and sacrifices of pro-democracy activists including Chief MKO Abiola, who fought for Nigeria's transition to democratic rule.The President,SPSP therefore urged Nigerians to acknowledge the country's progress, reflect on its history and honour the heroes of Nigeria's Democracy.
