The Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP) has adopted a comprehensive Whistle-Blower Policy (2025) as part of its ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical governance.
Issued from the Office of the President, the Policy establishes a clear, safe, and structured mechanism through which members, partners, employees, and stakeholders can report misconduct or unethical practices without fear of retaliation. It reflects SPSP’s resolve to strengthen institutional integrity as the Society expands its national and international footprint

Types of reportable concerns, including fraud, misuse of funds, abuse, and other unethical conduct
Core principles such as confidentiality, protection of whistle-blowers, fairness, and duty of care

Oversight and compliance mechanisms to ensure timely and impartial action
By empowering members and stakeholders to speak up in good faith, the Policy seeks to promote early detection of misconduct, enhance trust, and safeguard SPSP’s reputation as a leading professional platform for peace studies and practice in Africa and beyond
